How do I book my date?
We ask for a $200.00 deposit along with our official written contract to confirm your wedding date. This provides protection and peace of mind for our clients.
Who actually dj's the function?
It will always be one of the two experienced and knowledgeable members of Hype Weddings' co-ownership team DJing your wedding reception. We have over 1,000 satisfied clients behind us and over 40 years of combined experience in the wedding industry.
How do you dress the night of the wedding?
Our motto is "Always Be Professional", therefore we are dressed professionally for all of our functions.
Do you take requests?
Absolutely! We encourage you to make a small request list prior to the wedding date and welcome your guests to the DJ table to make requests that night. We do our best to play as many as possible and in a timely manner.
Do you use a licensed music library?
Yes, we obtain all of our music from a legal and reliable music subscription source. We carry a huge library of all genres to please all age groups.
Can we meet in person to discuss the details?
Definitely! We prefer to meet with all of our clients when booking and if your schedule permits, again before the wedding. This ensures that no detail is overlooked and helps us customize our services to meet your needs. Our detailed Reception Planning Guide covers all the important details regarding your special day.
Is lighting included in your prices?
Yes, our packages both come with effect lighting to add a brilliant light show to your dance floor. We also offer an LED Up-Lighting package to turn your venue into a work of art and amaze your guests. This is included in our Premium Package.
Do you play music during our meal or cocktail hour?
Yes, we have a collection of romantic background music to set the perfect mood for your dinner or cocktail hour. This is included in our Premium Package.
Do you have backup equipment on hand?
This has never been an issue as we update equipment regularly and take excellent care of it, but we do carry backup gear in the event of equipment failure.
Will you travel to my town?
Depending on your venue's location there may be a minor travel fee. Ask us for details on travelling to your town.
